Grand Felicitation Ceremony for IAW achievers - 2016Posted On 17-Feb-2016

A grand felicitation ceremony was conducted this year at the St. Joseph’s College Auditorium with an audience of over 1000 people. It was an engaging event where lots of prizes were given away which included Laptops for the top performers, Amazon Kindle and Tablets for the runners up and Amazon gift vouchers given as consolation prize.

The response for IAW this year was phenomenal with a whopping 88020 students taking part. Here are a few other details:

  • Total number of Schools that took part: 568
  • Schools from Karnataka: 508
  • Schools from Maharastra: 60
  • The total number of students who took part this year: 88020
  • Number of 10th class students who cleared Round 1: 957

The exam had 2 rounds as usual. After all the students completed Round 1, where they were tested on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology, the students were given a performance analysis with cognitive & analytical skills as the criteria. Students who had cleared a cut-off entered the Round 2 where the Top 10 students were awarded. Here are the achievers:

Ritik Roy, BGS National Public School - 1st prize in 10th Standard IAW

 

With the cheerful emcees engaging the crowd and a mesmerizing & humour filled talk by our chief guest Dr Bharat Chandra, this program wasn’t just another boring felicitation program.
